Quiet, hidden getaway with perfect accessibility to local sights. Rooms offer firm bedding, which worked for some but not for others.
Complicated parking scenario, especially with roads closed during arrival. Beds may not suit everyone's preference, as they were notably hard for some guests. Limited outlets made charging devices a bit of a hassle for others sharing the room.

Truly enjoyed my warm stay for a night. I've booked standard queen room with modern bathroom and everything was great. The breakfast was delicious with juices and yogurt, for instance, you will not be disappointed.

There was a wide range of SAVOURY meals. The staff has always been very attentive, and the facilities were very good.

The hotel's location is ideal, just steps away from the vibrant Piazza del Comune, yet it offers a peaceful retreat with its charming garden.
The bed in my room was a bit on the firm side, which might not be everyone's preference.

the Umbra is already a little older and "retro", but the rooms are totally clean, spacious and from our small balcony we had a gigantic view into the valley. There is no better location. Right in the old town and still totally quiet. Extremely friendly employees . Breakfast buffet very good
the Cafe Americano from the machine is not drinkable. But that's all

Really good experience there. Quaint and fairly clean hotel with very attentive staff and stunningly beautiful views of the valley. Marble bathroom in the well-appointed room. Absolutely perfect location when traveling to Assisi. Besides, excellent for visiting a vast hillside church. Small restaurant for breakfast.

A hidden gem with fine views
Hotel Umbra exudes a unique charm with its eclectic decor and fine garden terrace. Waking up to the amazing views of the countryside made my mornings magical. The staff, especially Nadia, were attentive, helping me navigate the town's best spots. The breakfasts were good-freshly baked pastries and sumptuous scrambled eggs to fuel my adventures.

Normally in Italy there is only sweet breakfast. But there was also a selection of sausage, egg etc. Very friendly and helpful owners

The owners are very nice and helpful. The hotel is very centrally located. The rooms are all individually furnished and there are small balconies everywhere and a very nice large terrace.
The choice of bread at breakfast could be better, and the coffee is too bitter.

Man, I was feelin' good here. The spot's just off the main square, so you ain't gotta walk far. Breakfast? That was the real MVP-mad good homemade cakes and they was makin' sure I was good the whole time. Ain't no issues with the AC either, a blessing. Wish the internet was better, though.
